Keeping Priorities Straight

I’ve been doing a lot of thinking and reading lately that has led me to reevaluate life. It’s made me remember the priorities I intend for myself and recommit to them: God, then my husband and children, my family and a few close friends, and then my work and writing. Life is clearer when everything is kept straight.

Today, I challenge you to evaluate your priorities and do three—yes, three—things to actively acknowledge and pursue those priorities.

  1. My priority list is the same as yours:) 1. I shut down my lap-top (writing), put away my Kindle, and cuddled with my husband for 15 minutes on the couch last night. We haven't sat that long uninterrupted in a long time. 2. We took some time to study a Christian book on marriage together last night. 3. I intend to spend more time in prayer.
